   Alder's dreams offered little sancuary throughout the night.  Alder found himself standing in Illeria ,though not the city he was used to, fire raged on every corner, buildings burned and people screamed. amidst the chaos Alder behld the shadow of a large lumbering creature.  "Get Down!" a voice echoed in his thoughts, alien, yet familair? The voice was too late though, the massive creature raised its shadowy head and roared towards the sky, shaking the very foundation of Alder's soul. The creature reared back as a dark light eminated from the creature, then a beam of black fire engulfed Alder's vision, blinding him, Alder trembeled

 Alder glumly sauntered down the dimly lit morning streets of Illirea, making sure to avoid guards and watchmen. Other than guards and merchants, setting up shop for the usual business day, the streets were desolate and empty. Alder did not mind though he saw the empty streets as an easy passage from one place to the next, without having to deal with pesky people constantly bumping into you.  Alder made sure to keep a brisk pace, being a thief guards are usually on the lookout for anyone suspicious, and Alder definitely appeared suspicious, his burlap satchel jingled with the meager loot he had made, around his belt hung more than one lockp

  The full moon rose high over the city of Illirea, casting an eerie light upon the tall noble manors that dotted the inner circle of the city.     Alder intently worked upon the lock, his hands grasping at the thin metal lock picks, working fervently on the defying lock, his deep blue eyes burning with hatred toward the lock. Alder had this heist planned a month and a half in advance, his plan was to pick his way into the manor through its upper balcony, which had already been difficult to reach as it rested several feet above the ground, and to make off with over one thousand crowns worth in jewels, enough to keep him fed and in lodging

    A fierce wind drifted down from the peak of a snow capped mountain along the Spine, chilling all who dared to try and cross the jagged mountain range.
